I am a character animator with over 6 years of production experience. I have worked professionally in commercials, advertising, video games and feature film. I have a strong foundation in the traditional animation principles and body mechanics, and well as a passion for creating endearing, entertaining character performances. I am well versed in Maya, with a diverse background contributing to different aspects of animation production. I can adapt easily to new software and workflows. I am a self starter, have strong problem solving skills, and thrive under pressure. I work very well within a team and thoroughly enjoy the collaborative nature of animation production. I am currently working at Sony Imageworks, where I have the honor of being apart of their incredibly talented and inspiring animation team.

Character Animator, Sony Imageworks Culver City, CA & Vancouver, BC Canada April 2015 – Present

Lead Animator/Animation Tech Lead on Smurfs: The Lost Village. Animator on Hotel Transylvania 2 and The Angry Birds Movie. Currently working on an upcoming feature film.

Freelance Character Animator, Psyop Venice, CA November 2013 – April 2015

At Psyop, I worked as a freelance character animator on commercials and game trailers for Supercell’s Clash of Clans, Cricket Wireless, Honda, DTS, Sony, AMC Theaters, Coca Cola and Microsoft.

Associate Animator, PivotVFX Albuquerque, NM January 2013 – May 2013

Worked as a contract animator on The Smurfs 2 feature film, The Smurfs: Legend of Smurfy Hollow TV special as well as the domestic and international Smurfs 2 McDonald’s commercials.

Associate Animator, Double Helix Games Irvine, CA January 2008 – January 2009

As an Associate Animator at Double Helix, I produced hand-keyed and motion capture-based animations using Maya and Motion Builder for the “G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” video game. I worked closely with game designers, programmers and animation scripters to ensure animations ran smoothly and seamlessly inside the game engine.

3D Artist, Heavenspot Hollywood, CA December 2005 – March 2007

At Heavenspot, I was one of two in-house 3D Artists. As a result, I was involved in every stage of production and worked on a wide variety of projects. Job duties included: creating high quality 3D stills and animation, creating motion graphics, video production and post-production, pre-production design and web content creation. Clients included: Pepsi, Fox, Newline, Red Bull, Echo Unltd. and American Racing.
